AT THE AIRPORT

 

CHECK-IN:

Passenger: Good Morning! Where do I check in for the flight to London?

Clerk: Right here Ms.

            Have you checked in online?

P.: Yes, I have, but I need to check-in my suitcase.

C.: Fine. How many suitcases have you got?

P.: Only one.

C.: Ok! Can you put in on the scale?

P.: Here you are…

C.: All right! You board from gate 9 at 10:20.

P.: Where do I go now?

C.: You need to go to the security check and departure gate. They’re over there. Have a nice flight!

P.: Thanks very much. Goodbye!

 

  SECURITY:

Agent: Please lay your bag flat on the conveyor belt, and use the bins for small objects.

 

Passenger: Do I need to take my laptop out of the bag?

A.: Yes, you do. Take off your shoes, please!

 

(She walks through the metal detector)

[BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP]

A.: Please, step back. Do you have anything in your pockets – keys, cell phone, loose change?

P: I don’t think so. Let me try taking off my belt.

A.: Okay, come on through.

(She goes through the metal detector again.)

A.: You’re all set! Have a nice flight.


  BOARDING:

Flight Attendant: British Airways flight 650 to London is now boarding. Please have your boarding pass and identification ready for boarding.

We would like to invite our first- and business-class passengers to board.

We are now inviting passengers with small children and any passengers requiring special assistance to begin boarding.

We would now like to invite all passengers to board.

(At the gate 9)

F.: May I have your identification and boarding pass?

P: Of course, here.

F.: Thanks, have a nice flight!
